A1: That depends on anumber of factors,including voltage,battery type,and usage.Generally, though, NiCad bateries last roughly 18months, NiMH batteries last for weo to three years, and Li-ion models can last for as long as five year.

Q2:Can I use samller batteries that I already own or does it have to be 5.0amps ?

A2:You may use any Greenworks 60V battery ! The higher the AH rating is, the longer the run time will be.

Q3:I have a 60V 2.5Ah battery. Will that work as the second battery?

A3:Yes,all batteries in the GreenWorks 60V line are compatible wih this unit.

Note

1.Always remove battery pack form your tool when you are assembling parts, making adjustments, cleaning, or when not being used for an extended time.

2. Do not leave the battery dormant for long periods. We recommend using the battery at least once every two to three weeks.

3. If you don't plan on using the Power Tool Battery for a month or more, store it in a clean, dry, cool place away from heat and metal objects. Ni-Cd, Ni-MH and Li-ion batteries will self-discharge during storage; remember to recharge the batteries before use.
